Terms of service
By using Tally ("the Service") you agree to these terms and to use the Service responsibly.
The Service
Tally is a tool to track shared expenses, balances between people, optional groups, and payments recorded between users. It does not move money; you arrange payment outside the Service.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for information you enter (amounts, names, group membership). You should provide accurate contact details where the Service asks for them (for example for sign-in or notifications).
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to harass others
- Attempt to disrupt the Service or access data you are not authorised to see
- Upload malware or abuse shared features
- Misrepresent expenses, payments, or who owes whom in a way intended to harm others
Content
You retain ownership of content you submit. By using the Service, you grant Tally a licence to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Service. We may remove content or accounts that violate these terms.
Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change or be withdrawn.
Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Tally is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, including disputes between you and other users about money owed or paid.
